Teachers Investment Fund CEO: Structural Reforms Are Meaningless Without Transparency and Members\u2019 Trust<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The CEO of Teachers Investment Fund emphasized that structural reforms have no meaning without transparency and the trust of members, stating: \u201cToday, the Fund is operating in its most transparent period, and teachers can be assured that every decision is being made to safeguard their assets. There is nothing to hide within the Fund.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the Public Relations Department of Teachers Investment Fund, Ali Sadeghi, speaking at a meeting of the Fund\u2019s Deputy Council, described \u201ctransparency, accountability, and building consensus\u201d<\/strong> as the three main pillars of the management approach during the current period.<\/p>\n

He stated: \u201cThe primary stakeholders of the Fund are teachers. Therefore, our first responsibility is to ensure that they have confidence in the Fund\u2019s performance, decisions, and the future of their investments.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added: \u201cThe stronger the trust of our members becomes, the stronger the foundation for continuing the reform process will be, and this process will not be affected by peripheral issues.\u201d<\/p>\n

We Will Continue the Path Toward Transparency with Determination<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Referring to a series of measures implemented in recent months in the areas of oversight and corporate governance, the CEO of Teachers Investment Fund said: \u201cThe establishment of security and inspection units, strengthening oversight bodies within the Fund, its holdings, and subsidiaries, appointing an inspection manager at Petrofarhang Holding, revising the transaction regulations, developing smart systems, and welcoming the presence of the Supreme Audit Court and other supervisory bodies are all part of a process that has placed Teachers Investment Fund in the most transparent period of its operations.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sadeghi noted that structural reforms are always accompanied by resistance from some individuals who benefit from the status quo, adding: \u201cEvery genuine reform affects the interests of certain individuals; however, this will not prevent us from continuing on this path. We do not view transparency as a temporary choice. Rather, we consider it essential to safeguarding teachers\u2019 assets and ensuring the integrity of the Fund\u2019s decision-making system, and we will pursue this path with determination.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Fund\u2019s Financial Results Are the Benchmark for Evaluating Managers\u2019 Performance<\/strong><\/h3>\n

He further emphasized that, alongside maximum transparency, operational and financial results are the primary criteria for evaluating managers, stating: \u201cThe true performance of any manager is reflected above all in financial statements and economic indicators. Managers of the holdings and subsidiaries must focus all their efforts on increasing productivity, profitability, and safeguarding the interests of members.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to the achievements of the Fund\u2019s recent management period, the CEO of Teachers Investment Fund said: \u201cSetting a new profitability record, distributing 6 trillion tomans among members, and recovering 15 trillion tomans in the Fund\u2019s assets are only part of the results of structural reforms and the implementation of a transparency-based system.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that the restructuring of companies, completion of unfinished projects, and provision of welfare services to members were among the Fund\u2019s other achievements.<\/p>\n
