Considering that the focus of Petrofarhang Holding is on the production of methanol in high volumes, Mahtab Parsian Petrochemical Company has taken action in its other mission, which is to enter the downstream industries of methanol. Currently, this company, with extensive studies in the downstream area of methanol, such as the production of propylene, polypropylene, isopropanol, acrylic acid, acrylates, oxo-alcohols and super absorbents, is obtaining the necessary permits to build this factory in the special zone of Parsian energy industries. For this purpose, Mehtab Parsian has allocated a land with an area of 130 hectares in the special zone of Parsian energy industries located in Hormozgan province. It is hoped that after completing the studies and obtaining the necessary permits with the cooperation of relevant institutions, this matter will enter the implementation phase.
