The CEO of Kimia Pars Middle East Company stated;
Eliminating the maintenance contractor is a practical step towards the job security of workers
According to the public relations report, Dr. Mohsen Nouri, CEO of Kimia Pars Middle East Petrochemical Company, announced the successful implementation of the plan to eliminate the maintenance contractor of this complex and said:
“After carefully examining the current situation and in line with the real support of the labor community, as well as with the support of Dr. Sadeghi, CEO of the Farhangian Reserve Fund, and Dr. Zarepour, CEO of Petrofarhang Holding, we decided to eliminate the maintenance contractor and directly attract capable forces in this sector. This action was taken in order to create sustainable job security, eliminate discrimination, pay salaries on time, reduce operating costs, and respect human capital.”
He added, referring to the complex’s macro approach:
“This decision was implemented with the support of Petrofarhang Holding and within the framework of the goals and missions of the Farhangian Reserve Fund. Farhangian Reserve Fund and Petrofarhang Holding, as major shareholders, have always emphasized the promotion of organizational culture, improving productivity, and optimal use of human resources, and we at Kimia Pars Middle East consider ourselves committed to this path.”
The CEO added: “The presence of contractors in the maintenance department, in addition to imposing unnecessary overhead costs, sometimes caused delays in paying workers’ salaries and increased operating costs. However, by eliminating these intermediaries, we were able to achieve direct and regular payments, which is economically beneficial to the group and creates greater transparency in financial matters.”
Regarding the implementation of this plan, he said: “All stages were carried out in compliance with the rules of the Special Economic Zone Employment Administration and under the supervision of expert experts. Before starting, we prepared detailed instructions and held specialized interview and assessment sessions. Finally, qualified technical forces were identified and directly absorbed into the structure of Kimia Pars Middle East.”
Dr. Nouri concluded by saying: “This action is not just a short-term decision, but part of our strategy to create a fair, efficient, and productive environment, as we believe that the job security of the company’s human capital will have a direct impact on productivity and a sense of organizational belonging.”
