In a ceremony attended by the Deputy Commander of the Bandar Taheri Army Air Defense Group of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the support, assistance, and efforts of the managers and staff of the two companies “Sabalan Petrochemical” and “Qotb Sepehr Lavan Petrochemical” during the Ramadan War were appreciated.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Engineer Reza Ganji, CEO of Sabalan Petrochemical, commemorating the Sacred Defense Week and the martyrs of the Ramadan War, stated: “Today the world witnesses the reality that our country has stood against the superpowers, and this great achievement is the result of the self-sacrifice, commitment, and expertise of the country’s armed forces, which is a source of pride for all.” He further emphasized that the security of the company and this national asset in the Asaluyeh region is owed to the presence of the armed forces, especially the Army Air Defense Group, and stressed: “I am proud to have colleagues who were present in the field under difficult wartime conditions. This deep collaboration among the armed forces, specialists, and the people in critical situations is a decisive response and a sign of the failure of the enemy’s psychological warfare, demonstrating that we all stand by our homeland to the last breath.”
Subsequently, Khalil Sheikhyani, CEO of Qotb Sepehr Lavan Petrochemical Company, emphasizing the national and social responsibility of the complex, said: “Iran is our home, and from the very first moments of the war, we considered it our duty to stand alongside the armed forces and place the company’s capacities in the areas of human resources and support at the disposal of the air defense forces.” He added: “The army has always sacrificed itself on the front line of defending the country; therefore, our presence alongside them was a way of repaying our debt to those who have stood for Iran’s security. These events once again demonstrated the unbreakable bond between the people and the armed forces.”
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Colonel Khajehzadegan, Deputy Commander of the Martyr Nassaj Bandar Taheri Air Defense Group, expressed special appreciation for the continuous and active presence of these two complexes from the first days of the conflict, stating: “What you accomplished through your presence is a golden page in the history of the petrochemical industry’s honors in the country. These complexes were among the few companies that stood continuously alongside the air defense forces from the very beginning.” He noted: “The army has always been and will remain alongside the people. If today we stand against threats, it is because of this mutual empathy, cooperation, and trust between the armed forces and the people in each other’s capabilities.”
At the end of the ceremony, plaques were awarded to the CEOs and a group of devoted staff of these two complexes in recognition of their efforts.
