The Annual General Meeting of Lavan Chemical Company for the fiscal year ending 31 Shahrivar 1404 was held in the presence of shareholders, independent auditor and legal inspector.
According to the report of Public Relations and Brand Development of Petrofarhang Holding, in this assembly, which was chaired by Ali Lotfi, Esmaeil Jalili, the CEO of the company, while presenting the performance report of the last fiscal year, reviewed the development programs in order to secure financing and attract investors to advance the company’s projects.
Referring to the challenges in the progress of the project, Jalili said: The issue of securing financial resources as one of the main challenges of this project had slowed down the progress in the past years, but fortunately, with the continuous follow-up and consultations of the CEOs of Petrofarhang and Sepehr Energy Holdings, and the efforts of Lavan Chemical Company colleagues, programs have been implemented and numerous solutions have been taken to resolve this challenge, which we will soon see resolved.
He added: “In order to achieve its development goals, the company is negotiating with domestic and foreign companies to attract capital and finance in foreign currency and rials; these negotiations are aimed at accelerating the implementation of the project and improving the company’s position in the downstream methanol industry value chain.” At the end of this assembly, the financial statements and the board of directors’ report were approved by the assembly, and Iran Newspaper was designated as the company’s official newspaper.
