The Governor of Bushehr visited the site of the Siraf Energy Petrochemical project to assess the latest status of the project, receiving a briefing on the progress of construction operations, development plans, and the project’s production capacities. During this visit, he emphasized the necessity of accelerating the implementation process, supporting investment, and highlighted the project’s vital role in the industrial development and creation of sustainable employment in the province.
Arsalan Zare, the Governor of Bushehr, accompanied by the Governor of Deyr County and the Deputy of Planning for the Bushehr Governorate, visited the under-construction Siraf Energy Petrochemical project. During the visit, Rouhollah Nasiri, CEO of Siraf Energy Petrochemical Company, along with Jafar Paknejad, Chairman of the Board, and a group of company executives, welcomed the Governor and his delegation. They provided a comprehensive report on the project’s current status, the progress of operational activities, upcoming plans, and the measures taken to accelerate the project’s execution.
During the visit, the Governor of Bushehr described Siraf Energy Petrochemical as one of the most important and influential projects for the industrial development of the province. Pointing to the role of major industrial projects in job creation, boosting production, and increasing investment, he emphasized the need to accelerate the removal of executive barriers and provide all-round support to advance the project.
Furthermore, Rouhollah Nasiri, CEO of Siraf Energy Petrochemical, while outlining the project’s progress, reported on the actions taken, future plans, and the most critical requirements and challenges facing the project. He called for the cooperation and support of the province’s executive agencies in facilitating processes and removing existing obstacles.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Governor of Bushehr and his delegation toured various sections of the project site, inspecting active construction fronts and the progress of civil and technical operations, gaining a firsthand understanding of the latest actions taken and the project’s implementation timeline.
Siraf Energy Petrochemical, a subsidiary of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund, PetroFarhang, and the Energy Sepehr Holding, is considered one of the strategic petrochemical projects in the country located in Deyr County, Bushehr Province. It is currently being implemented with the aim of completing the value chain, developing production capacities, and creating added value in the petrochemical industry.
