Following continuous strategic follow-ups by the Teachers’ Investment Fund (Sandoogh Zakhireh Farhangian) and Petrofarhang Holding, coupled with the responsible cooperation of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) and the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), production at Sabalan Petrochemical (Phase 1) has resumed after a several-month hiatus. The final product is scheduled for storage starting this Friday.
According to the Public Relations and Brand Development Department of Petrofarhang, the Acting CEO emphasized the vital importance of production continuity, stating: “Given the country’s specific circumstances and the necessity of supplying petrochemical products to meet national demands, a specialized focus on removing production barriers was placed on our agenda. Fortunately, these efforts have culminated in the restart of the Methanol production line at the Sabalan complex.”
He further noted that Petrofarhang Holding has concentrated its responsible outlook on securing essential national needs within the petrochemical sector. “During the period leading up to and following the Ramadan War (Conflict), comprehensive overhaul operations were successfully completed across all subsidiary petrochemical plants. Currently, all manufacturing entities are fully prepared for maximum capacity utilization. In this regard, Kimia Pars Khavarmianeh Company is also in a state of full readiness to commence production at peak capacity in the shortest possible timeframe, immediately upon the stabilization of natural gas and electricity supplies.”
Expressing gratitude for the efforts of the management teams at Petrofarhang and Energy Sepehr, Sadeghi added: “Once domestic market demands are secured, we will promptly initiate export operations to generate foreign currency for the country. However, any export of the holding’s products will strictly adhere to national regulatory frameworks and will occur only after domestic requirements are fully satisfied.”
He concluded by reaffirming that the Petrofarhang Group remains committed to leveraging its maximum production potential to play a significant role in the country’s economic stability.
