Seyed Mohammad Hashemikia Appointed as CEO of PetroFarhang Holding

Following the approval of the holding’s Board of Directors, Seyed Mohammad Hashemikia has been appointed as the new CEO of PetroFarhang.

According to the Public Relations and Brand Development Department of PetroFarhang Holding, the appointment ceremony was held in the presence of Ali Sadeghi, CEO of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund (TRF), and Alireza Zeighami, Chairman of the Board of PetroFarhang.

Mr. Hashemikia, who has served as a member of the PetroFarhang Board of Directors for the past three years, brings extensive experience to his new role. His professional background includes serving as the CEO of the Bidboland Engineering Company, a Board Member of the Qeshm Oil and Energy Industries Development Company, Deputy Director of the Pars Petro Institute, and a Board Member of the Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC).

He holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Tehran and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology. He possesses 27 years of professional experience in the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors.

PetroFarhang Holding, a subsidiary of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund, is a major shareholder in several prominent companies, including: Energy Sepehr, Sabalan Petrochemical Industries, Kimia Pars Middle East, Siraf Energy Petrochemical, Morvarid Petrochemical, Khorasan Petrochemical, Mahtab Parsian, Lavan Chemical, Aria, as well as the Power Plant Process Management Company (Mafna), Seco Global Trade Company, and the Sepehr Lavan Ghotb Company.
