Petro Farhang Holding

Petrofarhang as one of the largest subsidiaries of “Iranian teachers in investment fund(TIF) , has been established in 2008 with mission of investment in field of oil, Gas and petrochemicals.The Petro Farhang Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, and Energy Holding was founded in 2008 as the main subsidiary of the Iranian educators’ reserve Fund. This complex, entirely composed of teachers, actually belongs to over 1.5 million school teachers who were once engaged in educating millions of students. Today, with their investments, they also contribute to the prosperity of Islamic Iran.

Petro Farhang Holding, as the holder of the world’s second-largest natural gas reserves, aims to participate in petrochemical projects that utilize this gas and lay the foundation for becoming the premier methanol producer in the Middle East.

Currently, this enormous complex holds stakes in sepehr energy holding and 15 companies.

Sepehr Energy Holding

The subsidiaries companies of sepehr energy holding include sabalan petrochemical company that produces methanol and two ventures that are in the development phase, namely Dena petrochemical and Siraf Energy copanies. Sitco international trade company, specializing in trade; Lavvan Chemical Company, with a focus on urea and ammonia production; and Ghotb sepehr lavan Company, dedicated to non-industrial services.

51 percent of Energy sepehr complex is owned by petrofarhang holding.

Methanol Producers of Petro Farhang

Petro Farhang is categorized as one of the largest methanol producers in the world, with its four subsidiaries—Middle east kimia pars petrochemical , Sabaalan, Dena, and Siraf Energy—that capacity of methanol plants is  6.6 million tons each year . Collectively, these companies command about 55% of the Middle East’s methanol production capacity and have a 5% share of worldwide methanol production.

Morvarid Petrochemical

Morvarid Petrochemical, is one of the most profitable subsidiaries of  PetroFarhang Holding, boasts an annual output including 550,000 tons of ethylene, 500,000 tons of monoethylene glycol, 50,000 tons of diethylene glycol, and 3,400 tons of triethylene glycol (TEG).

40 percent of Morvarid petrochemical company is owned by Petrofarhang.

Kian Petrochemical

The Kian Petrochemical company is under construction on approximately 75 hectares of land in Pars Special Energy Economic Zone Asalouyeh. This facility, as one of the world’s largest petrochemical complexes, will have a capacity of about 3 million tons of petrochemical products in the near future, producing a wide range of intermediate and final products in this industry.

40 percent of Kian petrochemical company is owned by Petrofarhang.

Khorasan Petrochemical

Khorasan Petrochemical Company, the largest chemical producer in the north and north east of the country, was founded in 1993 as a chemical fertilizer production complex, and began procing in 1996, produces urea, ammonia and melamine crystal .

20 percent of Khorasan petrochemical company is owned by Petrofarhang.

Sitco International Trading Company

This Company was Founded in 2012, Sitco international Trading Company serves as the trade division of Sepehr Energy Group, The activity of this company engaging in the export of petrochemical products and petroleum derivatives to international markets.

Power Plant Process Management Company

Established with the objective of generating clean energy this company effectively integrates multiple forms of power plants, such as distributed generation (DG), solar, combined cycle, and wind energy. Curently , Esfandegheh Solar Power Plant in Kerman operates the 10-megawatt and the 25-megawatt Gachsaran Solar Power Plant in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, with four more power plants currently in development.

Parsian Mahtab Petrochemical

Mahtab Parsian Petrochemical Company will be established  in parsian energy intensive free zone , located in south of Iran, west of Parsian city in Hormozgan Province. the company has shifted away from its original downstream activities. It is now conducting comprehensive research in the downstream sector to secure the requisite permits for producing various chemicals, including propylene, polypropylene, isopropanol, acrylic acid, acrylates, oxo alcohols, and superabsorbent materials.

Sepeher Lavvan Ghotb Petrochemical

This company is currently constructing and outfitting the Sepeher Hotel, situated on a plot of 12,000 square meters in Asalouyeh. The hotel accommodates 72 twin rooms and also features a restaurant and laundry service. In addition , a second phase of development for the Sepeher Hotel is in the works, which will see the erection of a 9-storey structure boasting 216 rooms and 432 beds. This additional building will encompass amenities such as a restaurant, café, swimming pool, gym, and other facilities typical of a four-star hotel.

Lavan Chemical Company

This company was established to aim at launching an ammonia unit and a urea granule unit as their final product. Yet, understanding the significance of finalizing the methanol value chain and delivering added value to stakeholders led to a change in plans. Now, the focus has shifted to the implementation stages of acetic acid and vinyl acetate monomer, which are currently in high demand and limited supply nationally.

Pardis Azerbaijan Petrochemical

This company was set up in the Maku Free Zone, occupying a vast 170-hectare site, with the intent to build a petrochemical complex. Its purpose is to manufacture methanol from natural gas and convert it to olefin, in addition to establishing ancillary units for polyethylene and polypropylene production. 57 percent of Pardis Azarbaijan petrochemical company is owned by Petrofarhang.

Aria Petrochemical Company

The Chabahar Free Zone has been identified as the country’s third export hub. Its strategic location in southeast Iran with accessible open water passages and established feedstock transmission lines makes it an ideal choice for future investments in the petrochemical industry. As such, Petro Farhang Holding has set up the Aria Petrochemical Company to contribute to this burgeoning hub and execute projects aimed at completing the methanol and natural gas value chain. Fifty hectares of land have been allocated for this initiative, with Petro Farhang Holding owning the entirety of its shares.

Petroolefin Fanavaran Company

This company has been defined in the Mahshahr Special Economic Zone for the conversion of natural gas to polyolefin.

20 percent of Petro olefin Fanavaran company is owned by Petrofarhang.
