In the wartime conditions of the country, we stand in the trench of service more firmly than ever

Ali Sadeghi, CEO of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund Institute, while presenting a report on the Institute’s actions and achievements in the presence of the Minister of Education and his accompanying delegation, said: “All colleagues in the Institute, the holdings, and the subsidiary companies were present in the trench of service during the Ramadan War and attended their workplaces, because we are trustees of the teachers, and this places a heavy responsibility on our shoulders.”

According to the public relations office of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund Institute, Ali Sadeghi, CEO of the Institute, while welcoming Dr. Alireza Kazemi, the Minister of Education, as the highest authority of the Ministry, and his accompanying delegation, and while offering condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Ummah, commanders, soldiers, dear compatriots, and the teachers and students of Minab, said: “Last week, we hosted Mr. Nouri, the respected aide to the President, and Mr. Ahi, his advisor, who, on behalf of the Office of the Presidency, kindly visited in order to express appreciation to our colleagues during the days of the Ramadan War.”

Sadeghi, while thanking the Minister for his assistance in resolving some important legal cases and restoring the rights of teachers, stated: “Over the past year, the biggest step was taken toward restructuring the Institute’s holdings and companies, such that we went from six holdings to two: Petrofarhang and Farhangian Investment.”

He stated: “We pursued the directive of the Board of Trustees regarding exiting direct business operation and moving toward investment management, and good measures have been taken in this regard. We have also witnessed the streamlining of human resources, growth in investment profits, and a reduction in costs.”

The CEO of the Institute added: “We finalized the status of the semi-finished projects and did not define any new projects for the companies currently under restructuring, even though we obtained initial approval and symbol listing for several companies on the stock exchange.”

Referring to some of the Institute’s achievements, he said: “Sabalan Petrochemical Company, which is 100 percent owned by the Teachers’ Reserve Fund, has been completed and will soon be put into operation. We have also inaugurated the Jannat Hotel in Isfahan, and brought the Golvard Bridge—one of the country’s points of pride—to its final stages.”

Sadeghi announced the resolution of legal cases valued at 12 “hemat” (120 trillion rials) and said: “In the area of governance, we unveiled new systems and, by offering welfare facilities to teachers, we encouraged them to join the Institute, to the extent that the number of new members has increased.”

Referring to the establishment of the Crisis Headquarters and the Passive Defense Committee, he added: “All managers of the Institute and the companies, throughout the period of the Ramadan War, by being present at their workplaces, managed the situation very well.”

In this meeting, Masoud Shokouhi, Chairman of the Board of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund Institute, while commemorating the memory of the martyrs of the Ramadan War, said: “Fortunately, the assets of the teachers have not been damaged.”

Also, Abbas Siyyadizadeh, Deputy for Corporate Affairs of the Institute, presented a report on the Institute’s performance and actions in line with the directives of the Minister and the Board of Trustees.
