In the Name of God, the Lord of Martyrs and the Truthful
Esteemed Colleagues,
Noble and Grateful Nation of Islamic Iran,
The farewell ceremony for the valiant son of the lofty school of Haydari, the tireless mujahid, and the divine scholar, Grand Ayatollah Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, is not merely a ceremony to honor a lifetime of struggle and service. Rather, it is a profound manifestation of the bond between faith, resistance, and the historical identity of this land—a rite in which the continuity of steadfastness and dignity finds its ultimate meaning through the presence of a nation.
Today, one of the most influential figures in the history of Islam and Iran approaches the Presence of the Beloved. The meaningful and unified presence of various strata of society in this ceremony reflects the very truth that he emphasized throughout his noble life: “Sacred Unity”—a unity rooted in faith, awareness, and an unwavering will to elevate Iran and safeguard the Revolution.
In such a moment, mere presence speaks more eloquently than any expression, and empathy resonates more deeply than any word; for nations, in their most critical junctures, speak through their “presence” and forge epics.
He was a man from the pure lineage of Iran and Islam, who stood gallantly to protect humanity and honor, standing tall like a cypress against the most nefarious regimes of his time, and offering his soul to the supreme ideals of the Truth for the sake of the world’s free people.
He was a voice of Karbala in the ears of history; an echo of the Ashura school, which regarded standing against oppression not as a choice, but as a divine duty. Thus, in the eyes of the enlightened, he can be considered one of the standard-bearers of this path—a standard-bearer for Iran and a standard-bearer for freedom.
Now, it is our duty, as a gesture of gratitude and nobility, to honor the memory of his struggles and, through our conscious and responsible presence, echo the message of continuity of this path throughout the history of this land.
