Value-creating Investment, Maximum Production, Exploitation of Phase 2 of Sabalan Petrochemical and Entry into the Capital Market

In the first meeting of the Petrofarhang Holding Board of Directors in 1404, the CEO of this holding company explained the major strategies and policies for this year, emphasizing the necessity of implementing the slogan of the year as Petrofarhang’s supreme goal.

Referring to the major role of this complex in realizing the slogan of the year, Dr. Zarepour emphasized the need for serious investment in the field of production and said: Petrofarhang is definitely one of the complexes that is the main audience for the slogan of the year, and we must plan in such a way that we go beyond the slogan stage and have a brilliant track record in realizing this important goal by the end of the year. Petrofarhang has high investment and production capacities that can attract investors’ attention and increase the role of this holding in the petrochemical industry and the country’s economy. It is because of these capacities that we are one of the main groups that must take steps towards realizing the slogan of the year.

The CEO of Petrofarhang Holding also considered localization, the use of artificial intelligence, and knowledge-based petrochemical equipment as a fundamental strategy and stated: Given the global conditions, moving towards self-sufficiency in the production of equipment and the development of indigenous technologies is a strategic necessity. Petrofarhang is currently one of the pioneers of localization, but there are more capacities that we must actualize all of them.

Pointing to the importance of truly exploiting the Fourth Industrial Revolution, he added: “Using new and digital technologies in production and management, effectively utilizing artificial intelligence in executive operations, and implementing smart systems will be other main priorities of Petrofarhang this year. Our analysis of competitors and the global market requires us to apply the requirements of the world economy and production, otherwise we will be unable to participate and contribute in the international arena.”

Dr. Zarepour also called branding and participation in effective national events another way to develop the market and increase awareness of the holding’s capabilities, and emphasized: Petrofarhang Holding is now considered one of the pioneers of the petrochemical industry in various ways, which has demonstrated its capabilities by relying on domestic expertise. We have significant achievements in localization, production volume, utilization of up-to-date knowledge in the technical sector, and human resource management, which must be introduced with an efficient approach. In addition, we can share our accumulated experiences and knowledge with effective participation in national events with the petrochemical industry.

In another part of this meeting, the CEO of Petrofarhang emphasized that the development of target markets, diversification in product sales methods, and development of new products for export are other main goals in the new year: This is one of the key strategies for increasing profitability and a sustainable presence in global markets that requires special attention and work. Considering the increase in production and the requirements of the global market, we need to expand our horizons for new target markets, which guarantees profitability and reduces possible risks in the energy market. On the other hand, in parallel with this, we must use the existing capacities to diversify sales methods, because the main perspective of the holding is documented and maximum profitability for the Farhangian Reserve Fund.

The CEO of Petrofarhang asked all managers to pursue the implementation of these programs seriously with continuous follow-up and close supervision so that the set goals are achieved on time. The realization of these matters is largely dependent on the precise implementation of projects based on planning, which will increase our production capacity and market share.

He listed the most important programs of Petrofarhang in 1404 and said: The listing of Morvarid, Sabalan, Mafna and Petrofarhang Holding companies in order to ensure transparency and financing, the launch of Sabalan 2 on time, the acceleration of the supplementary operations of Siraf Energy Petrochemical Company and the four-star Sepehr Hotel, the generation of electricity by Mafna Company to deal with the country’s electricity imbalance, and the commencement of the implementation of downstream methanol projects in Aria, Lavan Chemical and Mahtab Parsian companies in the first half of this year will be seriously pursued and monitored. Also, the start of construction operations of the Gardan and Pazan gas fields to increase gas production capacity, diversifying international markets for exporting products produced in subsidiary companies are other programs that should achieve desirable results this year and crystallize the holding’s development-oriented outlook.

In the continuation of this meeting, which was held with the presence of the CEOs of Petrofarhang’s subsidiaries as well as the holding’s staff managers, the plans, problems, and solutions for achieving the holding’s goals were reviewed.
