During the inauguration of this project, Dr. Kazemi said: Given the energy imbalance in the country and the urgent need for electricity production, this action of Farhangian Reserve Fund is very important and commendable.

The Minister of Education added: Also, in a year that is adorned with the slogan and decree of the Supreme Leader under the title of investment for production, this action is one of the best manifestations of the realization of this decree, and we are proud that Farhangian Reserve Fund is a pioneer in this field.

He stated: I congratulate my colleagues at Farhangian Reserve Fund and its subsidiaries, especially Petrofarhang and Mafna, which completed this important and valuable project, and I recommend that such actions continue.

The CEO of Farhangian Reserve Fund also said regarding the details of this project: The construction of the 10-megawatt Esfandaghe 2 solar power plant, which is located in Jiroft city, Kerman province, began in Mordad 1403 and was completed by the end of Esfand with the round-the-clock efforts of Iranian engineers at the Iranian Power Plant Process Management Company (Mafna).

Ali Sadeghi added: In addition to helping reduce the energy imbalance in the country, the operation of this solar power plant will bring significant and sustainable profitability to the members of Farhangian Reserve Fund, and is in line with the slogan of the year and the orders of the Supreme Leader entitled “Investment for Production.”

In this project, which was built with the investment of Petrofarhang Holding and Farhangian Reserve Fund, more than 14,000 solar panels with a nominal capacity of 700 watts have been installed. These panels have been selected from the most up-to-date technologies in the world and reputable global brands to ensure the highest efficiency and longevity.

The process of aggregating and transferring the output power from these inverters is carried out by 4 2500 kilovolt-ampere (kVA) transformers manufactured by one of the leading Iranian manufacturers, which ultimately transmits the generated electricity to the distribution network.

As one of the active companies in the field of new energy production, Mafna Company has a brilliant track record, so much so that it has so far succeeded in building and operating a 25 MW gas-fired power plant in Gachsaran and two 10 MW solar power plants in Esfandaghe, Kerman, and is in the process of obtaining the necessary permits to construct three new 10 MW solar power plants.
