Ali Sadeghi, CEO of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund Institute, while commemorating Teachers’ Week and congratulating Teachers’ Day to all esteemed educators of the country—especially the members of the Institute—honored the memory of the teachers and students martyred during the Ramadan War. In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful The rank of a teacher is the continuation of an endless light The 2nd of Ordibehesht, the martyrdom anniversary of the distinguished teacher and scholar, Martyr Morteza Motahhari, and the National Teachers’ Day, is not merely a date marked on the calendar of the Islamic Republic of Iran; rather, it is a reminder of a truth without which no tomorrow would exist. As the CEO of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund Institute, I grow more certain every day that a teacher is the extension of an infinite radiance and the architect of a nation’s future. Today, as I write this message, the memory of the martyred teachers and innocent students who, during the unfair Ramadan War and under the barbaric bombings of the United States and the Zionist regime, stood firm with their classrooms along the frontlines of faith and awareness and attained the lofty status of martyrdom, fills me with sorrow and grief. Let the names and memories of the teachers who replaced their blackboards with the red banner of resistance—and who, alongside teaching lessons, instilled courage and honor in the youth of this land through their actions—be forever honored. They proved that when a teacher is martyred, a generation of knowledge and bravery remains behind, capable of establishing thousands of classrooms of resistance across every corner of this soil. To all dear educators and esteemed colleagues throughout Iran, I say: your role surpasses every battlefield. You are nurturing a generation destined to shine not only in the classroom but also in every scientific, cultural, economic, and even demanding arena of defending the homeland. At the Teachers’ Reserve Fund Institute, it is our duty to employ all our capabilities to fulfill a portion of our commitment to the noble community of educators, especially the members of the Institute—though we are well aware that a teacher is an unparalleled treasure, a rare gem whose true value cannot be measured by any material indicator. From the bottom of my heart, I congratulate Teachers’ Day to all teachers, instructors, professors, educators, and everyone whose vocation is to kindle the lamp of awareness amid the darkness—especially the active and retired educators who are part of the great family of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund Institute. We consider ourselves at your service and will spare no effort in improving your livelihood and welfare. The path of a teacher is the path of the prophets. May the memory of the martyred teachers be cherished, their names eternal, and their path well-traveled. Ali Sadeghi CEO of the Teachers’ Reserve Fund Institute
